My experience with a '57 Imperial is consistent with Wayne's explanation. I took a 392 hemi engine out of a 1957 Imperial. The Imperial was in a junk yard in Pflugerville, Texas. It was around 1980. The '57 392 from this Imperial has the Firepower script. I still have that engine.
PS: Unrelated to the '57 Imperial 392 engine - I have a set of those dimpled valve covers, too. They were chrome when I bought them. I had them rechromed around 1981. They are really precious! Paid maybe $40 and another $50 for rechroming.
Another accessory for my 392 is a factory twin-fours setup. I bought it off a guy who had it in his barn half buried in mud. I paid him $40. It had everything except the air filters (naturally) and the rod to connect the rear carb to the throttle linkage.

I had it in my possession for over a year and it most certainly had the valve covers stamped "IMPERIAL" as I was somewhat disappointed that they weren't the "FIREPOWER" covers as I intended to put the engine in my 58 Fury.
