the ditzler code will cross ref to the modern mix/equivalent to GM code WA7379 lt. redwood met.
3 separate paint shops that work with martin senior, PPG, and RM cross to the same code. the color is exact- as it was matched to the original paint before application.. and if you know the color- seeing is believing!
though the ebay crowd seems to think golden commando blocks are either oldsmobile gold or ford blue.....
I've seen a few renditions of the ditzler code-- way off..... as far off as looking like the fake copper spray at home depot- one of the cars at carlisle had that mix 2 yrs ago.... and the owner said it was the ditzler code- so be careful to have a good paint rep mix it, and be sure to know what its really supposed to look like.
