Geez, all this excitement over a window handle removal tool? I've had my K-D
for about 46 years so when I saw a used one at a flea market Sunday I picked
it up but passed it by. Sorry guys, a day late and a dollar short as usual.
But I do know that a plastic paint scraper with a notch cut in it and a1/8"
bent in the crotch works just as well and is easy on ancient soft trim. Dick

How nice Neil....my "hope to find someday dream tool". I keep looking and
find every other niche tool in existence, but that crank removal tool
still
eludes me....

And, for someone looking for the Real McCoy; got this bad boy a few
decades ago.
My ditty is "The forks go down at nine", meaning : orient the window
crank toward 9:00 position
and insert the tool so that its forks descend, and contact against, the
window cranks' spring-clip,
thereby releasing its grip onto the notched-groove of the window
regulator's crank-lever.
