Re: [FWDLK] A Question about the 303 poly?

If you are talking cast iron 3 speed Torqueflite, the answer is yes as it it nearly a even swap. If you are speaking of the aluminum Torqueflite, then you need a transmission  adapter plate & parts (by T R Waters, or B&M or others) plus a modified rear transmission mount, sized drive shaft, longer speedometer cable and some other minor stuff. Bit is is again possible and it's been done before.

Subject: [FWDLK] A Question about the 303 poly?

Can a 3 speed Tourqueflite fit where there is a 2 speed powerflite? I was asked this question by a guy who has a 56 Fury and I do not know this answer so I will come to those that might. Thanks
