Hi Ed – I did mine a few years
ago. Can’t remember exactly how I did it but I don’t think I
used glue. (I just went out and looked at it). I think I just loosened up all
the pertaining screws and tucked the windlace edging in behind the trim and
kick panel and tightened the screws. It looks fine and has stayed in
place.

To replace the front windlass (belting) that runs from the door sill
plate to the top of the dash board along both sides,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Is
there any way to get new nails in there along the area that meets the side of
the dash????
I really do not want to remove the dash.
Is 'glue' (an ugly word) an option???
