I remember one of my first claim assignments, back before most of y'all were born, in late ought-'74, where a company that mixed-up various fertilizers, in huge vats, failed to clean out some WEED KILLER, before mixing-up some sort of inocuous peat-moss-filler-stuff, which they sold to a bunch of Central Valley farmers. After all the crops got done dying, the company made a fess-up claim to its liability carrier, and a VERY quiet settlement protocol got instituted without EVER revealing why the settlements were being so easily accomplished with the farmers. Just because "it" ain't being widely reported don't mean that something isn't being addressed, or remedied, quietly.
