Jimmy I agree with you, assuming I understand what you mean. If you
mean lets not try to structure the list in such a way that there needs to
be a subject line police then I absolutely agree with you. It would
be nice if all subject lines were 100% accurate, but this also should be
a fun forum. I don't know about the list archives, never having
used them. Didn't even realize they existed. I sort of keep
my own archives via multiple mail boxes in my email program, which is
searchable by subject or message content. So, for me, the subject
line is not that important from an archival perspective. I for one, have thoroughly enjoyed this drag racing thread, even with some folks getting their knickers in a knot. There seems to be an occasional move to limit the discussion as not relevant. I've had lots of discussions like this, it's called bench racing. Bench racing is never actually productive, it never settles anything definitively, because....it happens on a bench, or even in a computer. But it can be fun and it can provide insights into how others may prepare or race their cars. There have been many subjects on this and other lists to which I belong that don't interest me in the slightest. That is what the delete function is for. Even if a subject line is not really that descriptive, one only needs to read the first message in that line to know to delete all of them unread, if that is your choice. I personally believe that there is plenty of bandwidth to allow for varied interests and opinions on this list. Any FL related subject should be good here without any attempt to censor content. The forum moderator should be the final authority on suitable subject matter. Just my 2 pennies. Bill Huff At 11/13/200712:47 AM, Jimmy Johns wrote:
