I have to reply to this one. 426 Street Hemi cars in the later 60's were
running mid to high 13's and low 14's(with 3.23 rears and automatics),does
anyone on this list honestly think that '56 Dodges with anything less than
possibly a supercharger could run anywhere near what these cars were running?
Once again these are stock cars on crappy stock tires, I think the '56 Dodges on
their best day might dip into the high end of the 15 second range,and that's
with some pretty good prep and possibly a little "cheating". With some heavier
"cheating" maybe mid 15's.
