Re: [FWDLK] Buried plym Starting

I'll just be happy as long as they don't give the car to Boyd to turn into a "Boydster."

Not to take away from the cars he creates, but...It drives me nuts when he goes and drops $20000 on a nice, clean car, something better than I'll probably ever own, just so he can strip it down and modify the crap out of it.  They say it saves time when working on the body to have a clean car, but I haven't seen an episode yet where they don't spend most of the time working on the body anyway, as even the clean cars don't seem to be the proper "shape" for what they're making.  Seeing as they'll spend a week to refab one tail light housing, I'm pretty sure an extra day to fix some rust holes won't set them back too far.  Seems like half the time the "clean" cars they buy end up filled with rust after getting them back from the stripper anyway.

That being said, I do enjoy watching his show and how dysfuntional his shop seems to be most of the time.  Makes me happy I don't work there, yet it reminds me of jobs I've had in the past.
