| I do not think this is so
insane...
I would really like a set but can not
afford the price, maybe if they come down I would get a set. (ever the rose
color!) But that is my choice, same as it is
the bidders to bid... He started at a fair
price... Then the bids came in, and they will
keep coming in and I say good for him! I wish I would have thought of
it. The key is
"IF"... Again (and this very same topic goes
around and around most of the posting lists all the time) just because
someone makes an honest buck it is called insane.... Or some other verbs that are not too
kind for the making of money! This is what some of us do for a
job! What about his time and investment,
and what if they did  not sell well, then no one would ever repo
anything... If this is the "zenith" of anything,
it is the American way! And to all the fellows out there
with the means, keep bringing repo's of all the things we need for our FL
cars!   post script I also really would like
a set of air cleaners for my 57! hint hint!! ;-)

  AM Subject: [FWDLK] Price Insanity
Talk about parts prices; to me this is a new zenith for
insanity!  The seller says these are "NEW" parts.  Read
"reproductions"!  That means if necessary he will make hundreds or
thousands of floor mats.  If this were the last pair of original floor
mats on the planet, they wouldn't be worth that final amount to put in Carl
Kiekhaefer's personal 300C to me.  But obviously 7 bidders bid the
price to this extreme for repros!     or     Read it and weep for the bidding fools who exceeded $100!
I sincerely hope the membership on this list is both wise
enough and adequately discerning to have not been in on this.   Wayne   ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options,
