At Wilcox Voc/Tech School in Meriden, CT, when freshmen came through the Auto shop to see if that was there apptitude, it was usual to send one of the unsuspecting newbies to ask the shop teacher for a "left-handed muffler bearing wrench". Of course, it was met with "Cut that out, you guys!" from Mr. Festa, our beloved shop teacher who died just last year.
