Hi Bill, I would think that the suspension hanging won't hurt it or the tires (no flat spots ;-) I've used mine to store one on top of the other, only problem is oil leaks! The one my ex-boss bought (4-post drive on) has a 'pan', but just a pain to work on the car for most things and more posts to walk around. Any unibody damage will most likely happen immediately, but not too likely since it comes with ~4" sq. rubber pads, let me know if you want any photos- Precaution is not to lift the car when it is totally out of balance, ie don't try to pick up one end of a car etc. The 3" concrete would be my only concern, but you might be ok at <5-6K pounds. I had concerns because the spot where I wanted to anchor mine is where three 'controlled' cracks come together- well, one uncontrolled crack, and they say to stay >6" away from cracks- one or two of my anchors goes right through a crack, but my floor is ~6" thick in this area. The other is I think I only have a 3" concrete floor in my shop. Is there a downside to using an asymmetric lift for storage/parking? I wouldn't think it would be good to let the suspension hang on all the bushings. Also, for unibody cars, if you don't hit the jacking points exactly, would it bend the body over time?
