There were 3-1956 Imperial Convertibles built in the 1956 model year.
The 3 were built on the New Yorker frame and were modified by Chrysler
Corp. with Imperial attributes including shortened rear quarter panels. I can
personally verify that Ross Roy, of Ross Roy Inc, owned one. Mr Roy was
responsible for the Ross Roy Data Books that dealer's used to compare a Chrysler
product to the competition. He started his service in 1928.
