Fireflite convertibles had an all leather option. Not sure about hardtops.
Leather, not vinyl on Fireflites, with a curved [scrolled] front seat back
top; vinyl/cloth on Firedome hardtops, not sure of there was an all-vinyl
convertible option. Apparently there was an all-vinyl convertible option in
'56.
But-- if it looks good, would it's lack of authenticity be a deal-breaker?
The gosh-awful cloth on '55 Fireflite Sportsmans doesn't deserve to be
saved.
Any other questions, drop me a note.

Subject: [FWDLK] 1955 Desoto Question
Hi Everyone -
Did the 1955 Desoto Fireflite have an 'all leather' option ? A car that I
looked at had both the upper and insert portions of the seats done in
leather. I thought it was supposed to be cloth and vinyl or cloth and
leather. Any 55 Desoto folks out there ?
Thanks,
Ron
