Thank you to all who replied with info on DB tires.

I was a little confused at first but after accessing their website I have now come to the realisation that the company is basically a whitewall (or whatever color) installer not actually a tyre manufacturer.

A company here in Oz distributes DB's, but at a high price, and I can safely say I would be able to purchase a good quality radial and have the whitewall process done by a local company and still work out cheaper than DB's.

Always pays to do a little research before parting with one's hard earned cash!

P.S. Still looking for someone to transport a 64 'Cuda rear windshield from Loomis near Sacramento to Cerritos (Los Angeles) if anyone is going that way with an s.u.v., van or small pick up.
