I did have a '57 Plymouth
dual WCFB setup, and yes, it did have a heat tube that looped down into the
-=INTAKE=- manifold and back out. I specifically remember it because I
had to patch the little tube -- it had too sharp of bends to be able to
recreate. It’s the “looped over” piece in this picture.
The 1958 Plymouth
dual AFB setup (on a 350) is a different animal altogether. It uses a heat
tube that goes through the passenger side EXHAUST manifold, like so:
