Maybe it's not the exact same,but I have seen really good interior shops glue down foam and use regular vinyl over it to make a damn near perfect dash pad on cars,including a tuck and roll dash pad on my '57.I have seen restoration quality work too,not just Custom.One guy up here did a dash for an old Chrysler (57 or 58) years ago and you couldn't tell it from the original.He did it with the dash out of the car(the customer brought it to him). Both my 57 and 58's dashes were done in the cars,the 57 is a better quality job,but I paid a hell of a lot more for the interior my in 57 than the guy who had the 58's done.
