Humm,  wonder if this might help detect e-mail address hijacking!
find a search that you dont mind looking at a lot,  configure 'My-Ebay'  
so that it automatically
emails you when new items show up, that way you get automatic emails to 
your normal (or the one you use for ebay) account on a routine basis, if 
they stop showing up, recheck your search or your 'my-ebay' settings
