I'm building a model of a 56 Belvedere convertible as a Christmas gift for
a friend of mine who used his then new ragtop for his honeymoon and
also used it to teach his wife to drive.
He has been unsuccessful in trying to find a real one so I thought I would
give him a model to soothe his frustrations. As you all know a model of this car
is not available so I am "kitbashing" one that will be fine.
My question is this: What were the interior color choices and how were they
patterned for a 56 black and white Belvedere convertible? In other words what
colors were the seat inserts, bolsters and door panels? I can't ask him
because the gift will be a surprise.
Of my thousands of car catalogues guess which one I don't have!!
Any help would be appreciated!
