Tom You bought what appears to be an original Dodge Brothers Key Fob. I have a similar vintage Plymouth Fob that I use in my '33 Plymouth. The Dodge Brothers under both the brothers and eventually Chrysler Corporation used the symbol I believe up into the 30's. Several legends exist as to its appearance and why they used it. Nice find...
