I copied some photo ads from a website on finned boats a while back, have
the pix but not the site. You could probably Google it. Some interesting
copycat fins. --Roger van Hoy, Washougal, WA, '55 DeSoto, '58 DeSoto, '42 DeSoto, '66 Plymouth, '41 Dodge ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Jones" <hurst300@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 12, 2005 10:14 AM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Finned boats
There is one I'm trying to find, it's named "the Arkansas Traveller". In the 14' to 16' range. Several have slipped thru my hands due to lack of funds or getting to the scene too late. It has the Fins and also Taillights as I recall. They are usually cheap, unless in perfect shape. I've never seen an inboard, but suspect they were built also. Ray Ray Jones, Mena, AR in the Ouachita Mountains in western Arkansas Y'all com'on down and we'll sit ona porch and sip a few. On Jul 12, 2005, at 12:41 AM, Mark J. This weekend at a flea market I encountered a boat whose title called it a 1959 Cat, with fins on the boat that reminded me of the '57 Plymouths fins!! I know I've seen pics of somebody out there with a '58 Fury and a boat done up the same, but it was a long time ago. ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
