I just cam back from photo'ing the seat release mechanism, & find that it's even EASIER to install, than I had previously stated. The 'sprung-lever' assembly, on the seat hinge, is THRU-BOLTED (twice) ; not even welded. The most-difficult aspect would be (perhaps) reinforcing the lower seat frame, to 'hold' the lock post, which appears to be about 3/8" (?) in diameter, so that that post could be welded to the seat frame. As far as B-body desirability is concerned, this seat lock piece was probably provided on all the MoCars (I just invented a WORD, there), over several model-years. It's just that I happened to see this system on a 69'er RRunner convie.---try to get THAT bench seat! Man, I just wish there were a practical way to cut/fit my plastique P/seat housing, to accomodate this "lock" system!!
