BlankThe web-vs-email debate has gone on for years. Each has its advantages, and each has its loyal followers. I have noticed though, that there is only about a 10-20% overlap of folks who read both. I personally prefer the email format -- where messages are 'pushed' to me -- over the forums. But that's my personal preference. For those of you who haven't checked it out though, the forums at http://www.forwardlook.net/forums have a very active userbase of over 1000 people, with about 30,000 messages currently online. There is an amazing amount of information there. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Robert Whitman To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 3:51 PM Subject: [FWDLK] Listserve vs message board <snip> If you have not checked it out, I recommend you visit....then again, maybe I am the last to know? How much longer can this list-serve survive? It has been fun, and I have learned a lot, but maybe the list-serve has gone by the wayside as the web improves and forums take over. ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
