The number on the part may not be the parts department number, but a casting number. You cannot tell by the number as to which year it is, though. I suspect #1158 352 is from before 1951 as #1142 878 was for a 1949 Plymouth hubcap. 1951 hubcaps and wheelcovers had part numbers 132x xxx. The farthest back I go with hood hornaments is 1953, #1456 363 for Plymouth, #1373 213-4 for Dodge (2-piece due to the wide curly horns), #1456 892 for DeSoto, and #1456 679 for Chrysler.
