I need to correct myself. The cylinder removal I described is how it works on a Ford. On the Chryslers, the pin you have to push is the actual pin holding the cylinder into the switch, which usually means you have to remove the switch from the dash to access the pin. Turning the key from whatever position it has to be in to remove the cylinder will pop this pin back out.
