Way back, pre-Horace (1980), @ the penultimate Squaw valley (CA) swap meet (the premises being usurped by condos, in 1982), I happened-upon a for-real 1956 CRL Golden Lancer, 2-dr H.T., & took a couple pics of it. It was not a D500, and, beyond its gold/white color scheme, it was not particularly interesting, altho in very nice physical condition. Haven't seen one, since then. There is a 1957 Dodge mini-mid-year-brochure, which 'showcases' the Golden Lancer, but IIRC, that model was either not-actually-produced, or, had no particular styling-features, like the "Texan", or '58 Spring-Special models, had. You 'want' to hear about something 'rare'? I've got factory-photos, of a 57 Dodge full-size styling mock-up, for a still-born model, with relatively radical, unique trim & paint scheme, to have been called: the "Stallion". In '59, there was a similar effort, to produce a Regal Lancer model; also still-born. Any other non-produced car models (beyond the 57 Hemi Plymouths, of course)?
