As part of my duties as a Quality Rep for the Defense Department, we were
required to audit how often platers serviced and changed chemicals in the
tanks. Contaminated, dirty tanks mess things up pretty bad, at
times. If your plater does government contract work, he is required to
keep records of service intervals, etc.
