Yes, but I had to keep moving them around until it set up a bit or it started to make big drippy runs.

have you had luck with actually DIPPING the looms?  It didnt work for me, and I ended up brushing it on in layers until it seemed to look OK.

Yup -- "Plasti-dip" will do it.  It's usually used for coating tool handles, but works fine for the wire looms.

Does anyone know if the wire looms that support the plug wires over the valve covers,,,can be re-coated  with the black rubber-plastic insulation???
 
I have an idea to improvise,,,but if anyone does it--GREAT
