The intake swap on a big block is not a big deal, most importantly because coolant doesn't flow through the intake on the big blocks. Its as easy as 8 bolts and some gaskets. In fact, if you're careful when removing your old one, you can save the valley pan and reuse it, if its not rusted through where you can't see it. If your car has factory air, there might be some brackets in your way, but other than that, it should be pretty simple.
