Hi Rich,
    I have found a long shafted small diameter screwdriver works just fine.
I have tried the "brake tool," and it is okay at best... it is better for
removing than attaching.  I just get the spring hooked around the
screwdriver shaft and hook the end of the screwdriver blade on the stud or
pin where the spring attaches, and pull up and out and let the spring slide
down onto the stud.   Takes a little practice, but after a bit, you will be
a pro at it!    John in WI
