Zach, every-so-often, I hear about "amazing" mpg claims from owners of 57-58 Chrysler owners, but, recently, I've come to suspect that @ least some of their 16-18 mpg was due to their "viscous" fan clutches, which allowed the fan to freewheel, aove a certain car-speed. For those who don't know, in addition to better mpg, the 'disconnected' fans permitted quieter-operation, with less 'vibration' (altho I don't know how the latter was measured. As a P.S., has any LOYAL FWDLK'er contacted Sanderson Headers, yet, about their 'measuring' our cars, for the creation of Block-Hugger headers that actually FIT our cars?
