[FWDLK] Power Steering Fluid

Hello Everyone,

The power steering pump on my '56 Imperial smokes after the car warms
up.   It was low on fluid and I added some power steering fluid.   I
then noticed the shop manual calls for ATF.  Would power steering fluid
cause the smoking on this type of system?  I just bought the car so I
didn't really notice if it smoked before I added the fluid.   any info
greatly appreciated.   Nick
