Ah, my Dad drove Matador station wagons as company cars.  Much better
looking than the bug-eyed two door.  And, at the time, I loved Pacers.  (Not
so hot on them now) But hey I was a kid.

I think the all time ugliest has to be a tie between the Fiat Strada and the
Renault LeCar.

I think the early Valiants are bizzare, but I'd sure have one.  Funny, in
Australia they look exactly the same and by what I gather, the Aussies love
them.
