Word from WNBC Channel 4 is that the blackout affecting New York, Toledo,
Detroit, Ottawa, Toronto, etc. is from a cascading blackout that originated
in New York. They haven't completely ruled out terrorism yet. All three
New York-area airports are shut down. MTA (buses and trains) has also been
stopped. If you know of anyone traveling to New York City, they're not
going to be landing anytime soon!
It's been just over an hour. So far, cooler heads are prevailing.
