On my original "survivor" 59 Desoto Firesweep Seville, the underside of the hood is body color, while the underside of the trunk lid is a darkish gray.  Not sure on the door handles though.

I've got a fellow calling me back this morning who would like an answer to what color the underside of the hood and trunk lid should be in a Detroit-plant-built '59 DeSoto Firesweep.   Anyone have a definite answer?? 

 

Also, are the '59 DeSoto exterior door handles the same as '58 and '57 or did they change the pattern on the castings?
