John, If it is complete and rotating, a 241 Hemi should be worth a few hundred bucks. All Dodge V8s in 53/54 were Hemis. The Hemi was standard in 55 only in the Custom Royal and only in performance D500s in 56 ? 58. Primary customers will be owners of 53 ? 54 stock Dodges and street rodders who are interested in reliable good looks but not big horsepower. A complete 56 D500 315 cid Hemi (production quantity about 4000) is much more desirable, and is worth 500 for a rebuildable core to 1500 for a tired one that runs.
