Roger, et al, I'm an insurance claims adjuster, since 1974(!) & have owned my own 'agency' since 1985 (guess that's why I'm so warped--also, writing company-reports for wat, nigh-onto 30 years, now, allows me to free-associate, easily.) Also, as I'm "only" 52 (chronologically) , I was @ the impressionable age of 7, when I saw my dad turn into the driveway, with his new 57 CRL 2-dr (all-white/blue interior; std-engine) , I was HOOKED. btw, all we 'boomers' recall drawing 57 Dodges/MoPars, and hot-rods, in grade school; usually in profile (air/ground combat scenes were also popular). Re: Ron Water's observation on the demise of Forwardlookers, the Dodge's body & interior "lasted", in Toledo, til 62, when dad, who was an insurance agent (& who happened to insure a local Fxxx dealership) sold the car to a local (hot-rodder-punk) teenager, & acquired the 1st of a coupla "Galatic" convertables. I literally cried when the hated-new-car arrived (how 'could' he???), but 'accepted' its brand-new 1965 replacement ( in part, because I learned to drive 'in' it; but you know WHAT? I still hate Fxxx's). Neil -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 2003 Calendar voting results and ordering information is online!
