Shortly after my earlier post, I was contacted by
the seller of the afore mentioned eBay item, who quite fortunately is a member
of this list.
The auction was actually ended for a very noble
purpose as opposed to what I purported to be a greedy purpose. The item was
ended because of some shady bidding or some such problem wherein the fairness of
the auction was compromised. For these reasons only, not for his own personal
gain, was the auction canceled.
Certainly everyone gets screwed one way or another
at some point when doing business on the internet, as I have already received
one message from a fellow eBayer who has witnessed similar "cheatings" as I
suggested earlier. I am very pleased to know and to share with the list, that
this was not such an incident. I should also point out that the seller of the
above item has no negative, nor neutral feedback, only positives further
affirming his honesty and capacity to conduct business on the
internet.
With that, I shall cease to bore you all to tears
with this. Let's just forget I ever said anything.
