[FWDLK] Driving Mr. Horace (Dodge)

So far, I've "basted the bird" (er, the resevoir) twice, in removing the
old P/S fluid, & installing fresh Sta-Bil brand "MoPar" P/S fluid, &
have found, in high-ambient-heat, high-speed driving, no evidense of
'foaming' or 'rough' operation. In fact, the steering feels GREAT; you
CAN dial-in
the front suspension & steering ( in my case the 'optional' [yes, they
were, according to the Parts Manual] 'thicker' Coronet T/bars, gas
shocks [ok; not-so-optional] a 'trick' front end alignment, featuring
2-degrees positive-caster, full front-end bushings-replacement, incl
hard-to-find swaybar-support bushings, HD front strutbar bushings, &
rebuilt P/S pump, and gearset/housing. The radial tires help, too, but
I'd love to test-drive 'modern' (compound-formulation) bias-ply's .

BTW (new thread): a friend in LA has installed the new (drinkable!!)
antifreeeze/coolant - replacement fluid, that also, happens to involve
NO line-pressure!!! You can remove its no-pressure radiator cap, @ any
time (can you say INDEFINITE hose-life??).

The down-side is its $50.00 cost, & the necessary complete removal of
the antifreeze.
Also, the car reportedly runs : "slightly-warmer",
than before, with the 14-lb.-pressure system.

The stuff reportedly "never " requires replacement.

Anybody, else, 'running' this stuff?

 ALSO: I inquired about installing a 7 lb-pressure rad-cap, "to prolong
the life of the coolant-system's hoses", & learned that , for each
"pound" of line-pressure decrease, the coolant's boil-over point is
decreased by 3-degrees. So, "you" gotta axe-yersef ifn you
'feel-lucky', & want to give-up 21 degrees of 'safety-margin' , in
exchange for longer-lived hoses.

Anybody 'running' 7-lb. radiator cap(s) on their car(s)?
