The long and the short of it is that there will be another 2-3 week wait.
The first 10 - 2 1/2" WWW test tires came in last Friday. They are shipping
them to me today. Based on the sample tires, they have approved the
manufacture of the tires from the factory. The tires should be made and
delivered to Coker for shipping to those interested within 2-3 weeks. This
is from the proverbial horse's mouth and not the other end.
The problem is that the factory made the 1" WW tires first. That is right,
they have the 235/75R14 tires in a 1" WW for '70's and other cars that
require a large 14" tire. They have already started shipping.
Coker always has 10 tires made first for testing and approval before they
commit to a large buy from the factory. That approval has been given.
