I've been reading on the list how options are listed on build sheets, somehow it never occurred to me that they were. I have a 1960 Imperial LeBaron. A number of years a go I found another '60 LeBaron, this one a parts car that had almost every option mine did not -- Mirrormatic, AutoPilot, the automatic high-beam changer, the rear deck air conditioning unit. It also carried the standard decklid, not the Flitesweep one. Mine has the Flitesweep deck, on '60 Imperials I prefer the standard one. I'd planned to install all those options/items onto my car. If I were to make a correct restoration, does this mean I should not install them because they aren't listed as having been installed on the assembly line per my car's build sheet? If that's the case, I wouldn't install them. Could easily live without the Mirrormatic, AutoPilot, and other options. But keeping the Flitesweep decklid would be disappointing. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Need an answer fast?
