Hello Everyone, My '59 DeSoto has a weird battery problem. The battery drains down only when I drive the car at night with the lights on. I can restart it fine right after driving for say an hour, but if I don't disconnect the battery after I've stopped driving, when I come back to it a couple of days later, the battery is dead. The owner before me put an alternator on the car, so I don't know if that might have something to do with it. I can drive the car for months in the daytime without having to disconnect the battery, but if I am out at night, the battery will drain if I don't disconnect it. The light switch seems to go on and off just fine. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick Nichols -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Need an answer fast?
