While looking for the RIGHT duals for my car, I have run across
at least 3 ways Mopar made duals for the rear of their cars
in the late 50's early 60's.  I have seen these units and the
part/casting numbers to authenticate their origin.

Some could very well have been dealer installed and that MIGHT account
for the different styles of bases I saw.
For the Duals I am looking for, they would have been mostly factory
installed as an option either dealer specified or customer ordered.
If added later, they would have had to address the hole in the front
fender problem.
