The building on the cover of the 1960 DeSoto sales catalog -- the building
pictured behind the two DeSotos -- is the McGregor Memorial Conference Center
at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

1) The same building is pictured on the covers of the 1959 Mercury and 1959
Thunderbird sales catalogs.

2) The architect who designed the McGregor Memorial Conference Center is
Minoru Yamasaki, the architect who designed the World Trade Center, destroyed
last September.
