I just carried in the 727 from our 69 P0lara two years ago and got it back completely rebuilt and with a new torque converter for just at 300 from a local rebuild shop. Would have been 200 more if removed and replaced and the car would have sat out beside thee shop for a week or so so that wasn't an option.
