[FWDLK] My how things progress

You have to love how things progress. Everything on my 56 Savoy 6cyl leaks.
Oil Pan, Trans Pan, inspection covers, power steering and the exhaust
manifold was cracked. My intention was to change the gaskets and put on a
new manifold. Then I thought, might as well paint the engine, it's looking
pretty bad. So off comes the power steering and generator. then I said, I
have a feeling one of my oil leaks might be the rear main seal. I looked
under the car and I had fresh trans fluid that is in a weird spot and I
don't think it's from the pan. I'm now starting to think front trans seal.
Well, by the end of the night, the hood is off the car. Disconnect the
engine mount bolts and out comes the engine and trans. I went from leak
fixing to pulling an engine and trans. My wife thinks I'm nuts.
