I think the term 'original' is too vague. It needs to be
broken down into 'unrestored original', 'survivor', 'restored to original',
'restored to numbers-matching original', etc. To me, an unrestored
original has factory paint and everything in place as it came from the factory,
with the exception of maintenance items, such as tires, belts, hoses, etc.
It may even be in #3 or #4 condition, whereas a 'survivor', at least as
I've seen it defined, is a mostly unrestored original, but may have had the
engine detailed, or a panel repainted.
