Thanks for all the help. Had a lot of suggestions from the basics of
checking the line pressures, to a stuck parking brake, to debris in the
valve body and a stuck governer valve. I had a chance to check it out this
weekend briefly but was not able to check the line pressure due to lack of
a proper gauge. But I did jack the rear of the car up and chack the parking
and rear brakes. Rear wheels spun pretty freely (other than a slight normal
drag) and I was able to turn the driveshaft easily by hand with the trans
in nuetral. So It's not the parking or rear brakes (I had already checked
the front brakes). It appears the problem is indeed internal. Good thing
the gasket is only $6!
