Dear group, I'm shopping for floor panels for my '58 Belvedere. I need to replace everything from the firewall to the rear. So far, there's two options : 1) ClassicFabrication which do the whole floor in six sections (three on each side) with a 1" flange on the sides. Their panels are made of 20 gauge steel. 2) The My55rock guy (seen his address on the For sale discussion board) which does the whole floor in four sections (two on each side) with a 2" flange on the sides. Its panels are made of 18 gauge steel, as the originals are. Now what's your opinion on those options, between steel gauge and the number of sections ? Thanks.
