First old car in 1969, a 55 Chrysler St Regis 2 dr ht. Since then a 51 Merc,
38 plymouth pickup, the 56 Sport Suburban, and a 41 P12 2 door. NEVER had a
problem with show trophys or judging. I simply put 'no judge, show only'' on
the cardboard info sheet.
Still get to enjoy the show, folks enjoy the car, and life goes on.
My brother who has had up to 10 old cars at one time, most show ready, just
unloaded a couple grapefruit cartons of trophys......
Everything we do makes us OK- or makes us THINK we are. Else we wouldnt do
it. Different strokes for different folks.
IMHO I shore dont need a trophy to enjoy my (or their) cars. Besides-
sitting all day in summer heat is not my idear of fun!
